Xanax Addiciton Led To FBI Agent’s Demise

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Carlos Ortiz, a recently fired FBI agent was arrested Wednesday for intending to murder his estarnged wife and the head of the Dallas FBI field office. Reorts indicate Ortiz, who admitted an addiction to Xanax, had been stockpiling guns and ammunition to carry out his plan of revenge. He insisted his wife and his boss were having an affair.

There are currently no reports that prove that this affair was going on. In fact, most think these are the ramblings of a man with a drug problem.

Attempted murder, delusional thinking and the inability to work are common indicators of Xanax abuse. This powerful benzodiazepine is one of the most abused medications in our country. Many have realized that although Xanax was supposed to handle anxiety, it is now just another way for our country to be under the influence.

Being nervous or stressed out is part of every day living. Killing your spouse or your boss is not. Do not let a pill take over your life. If you have gone out of touch with reality, even to a small degree, seek advice as you may be experiencing the side effects of Xanax. Get help for your benzo addiction before it is too late.

Are We Relying Too Much On Drugs?

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

It has happened to almost everybody; a stressful day at work, a fight with a spouse or loved one, a difficult life-changing decision to make, all followed by the tease of needing a Xanax in order to relax. Interestingly, our society has become so adverse to feeling any sort of discomfort that we immediately reach for Xanax, or any other benzodiazepine, to handle the problem.

Xanax, a tiny pill that has become one of the most addictive and problematic drugs in our history, has become synonymous with relaxation, tranquility and calmness. Unfortuntately, while some may use it to “kick back”, others are plummeting down the dwindling spiral of a serious Xanax addiction, heading straight for death.

Xanax abuse
effects tens of thousands of people everyday and has become one of the hardest substances from which to withdraw. Xanax addicts will experience severe anxiety, depression, insomnia, nerve pain, headaches and even suicidal ideations.

Xanax was developed as an escape, a cover up for life, but what has been found is that Xanax prevents life from happening at all. If you or anyone you know needs help regaining the ability to handle life instead of leaving it in the hands of Xanax, contact a drug and alcohol treatment center immediately.

College Health Centers Providing Students With A “Legal” High

Friday, August 13th, 2010

There are thousands of stories strewn about the internet speaking of the dangers of Xanax. Stories of teenagers blacking out, getting behind the while and killing themselves or someone else. Stories of overdose deaths and pharmacy hold-ups, all having to do with Xanax addiction. Knowing this, some people wonder why then are college health care centers providing Xanax so readily to their students?

This is not an easy question to answer. Xanax is legally prescribed for anxiety, however most people that are abusing the drug take it for the intense high that is provides. Interestingly, those who have a xanax abuse problem do not usually get the drug from dealers or off the internet. They get it prescribed to them from places like college health care centers. If that fails though, most addicts just go home, because in their parent’s medicine cabinet there is usually a bottle of Xanax.

Kids in college are under immense pressure to perfom. They stay up late cramming, they are away from home for the first time in their lives and they are around people they do not know. All of this combined has lead more and more college students to suffer from “anxiety” and seek out Xanax.

If you or anyone you know is in need of help for a Xanax addiction please enroll in an effective drug rehab. Do not wait until it is too late.

Several weeks ago he was involved with a bizarre kidnapping, where he insists that he was forced to consume drugs and alcohol before being let go.

An addiction to a Xanax addiciton, Celebrity rehab will tackle alcoholism, opiates, and maybe even Jance Dickenson’s addiction to plastic surgery.

While it is comendable that these celebrities are seeking help, it has been found that a more intense treatment garners better results. Take Narconon Louisiana, for instance, their long-term, inpatient program boasts a 76% success rate for permanent recovery. They attribute their success to their unique take on addiction. Narconon Louisiana does not subscribe to the idea that addiction is a disease. Friday, May 28th, 2010

A recent story, outlining Xanax abuse could have been mistaken for an all points bulletin for where to buy Xanax. Instead of reporting on how to get help for Xanax abuse, the story explained how addicts buy the drug, where to buy it, and when is the best time to purchase the drug.

So, for all those people who need some real information on Xanax abuse and how to stop it, here it is:

Xanax is a benzodiazepine. It is in the same family as Valium, Ambien, Clonipin, and Ativan. It is extremely addictive and it is extremely dangerous to come off of. There are other serious withdrawals from Xanax, those include, hallucinations, insomnia, paranoia, headaches, vomiting, body aches, depression, vibration-like feelings throughout the body, nerve damage, anger and anxiety. In some extreme cases, people sometimes feel suicidal.

Xanax is abused because it does provide a calming-like feeling for the body, this is mostly due to the fact that its original intention was to handle anxiety in patients.

Is The Web Pushing Xanax?

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

It is bad enough that tens of thousands of people are being prescribed such a dangerous and addictive drug, but now tens of thousands of people are posting links for “cheap xanax” or “no prescription needed for Xanax!” Incredibly, this is allowed even though xanax addiction is creeping up to the number one drug problem in the U.S. In fact, you might as well see ads for crack cocaine and heroin, that is how devastating a xanax addiction can be.

Most search engines will pre-qualify ads before they are posted, however, there are still some getting through. Often times a person becomes addicted to Xanax because it was prescribed to them or because they stumbled across it in someone’s medicine cabinet. Xanax addicts often cite the fact that Xanax is a prescription so they thought it would be safe. These internet ads are just another reason why a person may mistakingly think that Xanax is harmless.

The only real way to handle a Xanax addiction is to enroll in a long term drug and alcohol rehab. If you or anyone you know is in need of help please call Narconon Louisiana at 866-422-4650 for more information.
