Celebrity Rehab Attempts To Handle Xanax Addiction

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Jeremy London, star of Party of Five, is the latest celebrity to sign up for Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab. London has publicly struggled with an addiction to prescription pain medication and Xanax for some time. Several weeks ago he was involved with a bizarre kidnapping, where he insists that he was forced to consume drugs and alcohol before being let go.

An addiction to a Xanax addiciton, Celebrity rehab will tackle alcoholism, opiates, and maybe even Jance Dickenson’s addiction to plastic surgery.

While it is comendable that these celebrities are seeking help, it has been found that a more intense treatment garners better results. Take Narconon Louisiana, for instance, their long-term, inpatient program boasts a 76% success rate for permanent recovery. They attribute their success to their unique take on addiction. Narconon Louisiana does not subscribe to the idea that addiction is a disease. Instead, clients work one on one with a counselor to figure out what problem drugs and alcohol were a solution to in the first place. Once that problem is isolated and handled clients no longer resort to drugs and alcohol as a way to get through life.

If you or anyone you know is in need of help for a Xanax addiction, or any other substance abuse problem please call Narconon Louisiana at 866-422-4650 for information.
