Ativan is a benzodiazepine usually prescribed to calm someone down and handle anxiety disorders. While a lot of people are under the impression that Ativan, or any medication is safe, there are some serious side effects. Some include; thoughts of suicide, confusion, hyperactivity, agitation, and hostility.
